Annual Fourth of July Event
Huge town celebration with a parade starting at 10am downtown; food, merchandise, and game booths at Beachfront Park following parade; live music. One of the biggest fireworks show starts after 9pm. Fireworks are shot over the beautiful Battery Point Lighthouse for an amazing display. Call the Chamber for more information or to be apart of this Crescent City tradition. 707-464-3174

Follow in your own car on a ranger led expedition into the farthest reaches of the newest part of Del Norte Coast Redwood Coast Redwoods State Park. Drive through the old mill site. Survey the watershed from the tops of the highest hills. Enjoy your picnic lunch to the music of Rock Creek. Bring your lunch, camera, journal and sketch pad. Most importantly bring a reliable vehicle with a good spare tire. Sunday from 11:00 am to 4:00pm. July 6th and 7th, August 3rd and 17th and September 7th. Open Dance Party
Dance With Debbie studio is having their monthly open dance party from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. The studio is located at 658 J Street downtown, between 6th and 7th streets. There is a $2.00 cover charge for the party. A Salsa lesson will be taught before the party at 6:00 pm. Charge for the lesson is also $2.00/person. Call 464-3638 for more information.
